Delete Policy for Elcheck
At Elcheck (Pty) Ltd, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, or just specific information, please follow the steps below:

In-App Deletion:

Open the Elcheck mobile application.

Once logged in, select the "Requests" tab at the bottom of the screen.

On the Requests screen, in the Request type dropdown, select the Contact request option.

Enter "Delete Account" or "Delete Information" in the Subject field.

Enter a reason for the account or specific information deletion request in the Description field.

Select "Submit Request" to submit your deletion request.

Should Elcheck require any additional information regarding the requested data to be deleted, we will contact you for more information.

Deletion request via email:​

Send an email to info@elcheck.co.za

Enter "Delete Account" or "Delete Information" in the Subject field.

Enter a reason for the account or specific information deletion request in the body of the email.

Please use the email address we have on record for your account to request the information to be deleted. Should we receive the request from another email address, Elcheck will first send an approval request email to the email address for your account listed on our records. Only once we have received approval Elcheck will proceed with the process.

Should Elcheck require any additional information regarding the requested data to be deleted, we will contact you for more information.

Deletion via phone:

You can phone us at 071 537 9578 to request the deletion of your account or specific information.

Provide full details regarding the data you would like to have deleted.

An email with the full details of your request will be emailed to the email on our records for your account.

On receipt of this confirmation email, please reply with approval of the request.

Should Elcheck require any additional information regarding the requested data to be deleted, we will contact you for more information.

Important Information:

Deleting your account or parts of your data is permanent and cannot be undone.

All your data, including any saved preferences and history, will be permanently deleted.

Once the delete request has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email that your account or the specific data requested has been deleted.

Please allow up to 21 working days to complete the process.
